Set at the base of Marula Hill, Saringa is a charming self-catering cottage made for two. Surrounded by the stillness of the Summerplace bushveld and sweeping views of the reserve, this peaceful hideaway is ideal for couples or solo travelers looking to reset and reconnect.
The open-plan kitchen and lounge create a relaxed, easy-flow space that opens onto a shaded stoep. Whether you’re preparing a quiet dinner, enjoying a braai, or simply watching the light shift across the bush, Saringa invites you to slow down.
For a little extra indulgence, the wood-fired Kol Kol hot tub awaits. Enjoy it warm under the stars or cool during the heat of the day.
The cottage features one bedroom with a king-sized bed that can be converted into two singles, along with an en-suite bathroom. Finished with 100% cotton linen and soft towels, every detail is designed for comfort.

| By signing the guest registration form, you confirm that you’re authorized to act on behalf of all guests in your party. If not, you agree to accept personal responsibility for any costs incurred during your stay.
Only registered and paid-for guests may occupy the accommodation. To ensure comfort and safety, the total number of guests may not exceed the unit’s specified capacity. Non-compliance may result in the party being asked to vacate the property. Check-in and check-out Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM unless otherwise arranged. Please aim to arrive before 6:30 PM, as the main gate will be locked between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM for security reasons. To help us prepare for your arrival, please share your live location en route. Responsibility and damages Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, or breakages to the property or its contents. If applicable, a security deposit may be used to cover these, but any shortfall will be recovered from the individual who signed the registration form. You are also responsible for the conduct of all members of your party. In the event of disruptive or unacceptable behavior, Summerplace reserves the right to ask the group to vacate the property without refund. We kindly ask all guests to: • Keep their space clean and tidy during their stay • Allow Summerplace staff reasonable access to the unit if needed • Not sublet or share the unit with unregistered guests • Park in designated areas only and avoid driving on the lawn or through gardens Noise and music: No loud music is permitted on the property. All music must be played indoors and at a respectful volume. Failure to comply with this policy may result in your party being asked to leave the property with no refund. Valuables Summerplace Game Reserve and its owners are not liable for the loss or damage of any valuables or personal property. | As a small and exclusive reserve, each booking is important to us. Once a unit is reserved, it is removed from availability on all platforms. For this reason, we have a strict cancellation policy in place to protect our team and business from lost bookings.
Please note: All bookings made via email or phone are considered confirmed and binding. A cancellation — for any reason — will result in the guest being held liable for the full amount of the booking, even if a deposit has not yet been paid. Cancellation fees: • 15 to 21 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total accommodation cost • 8 to 14 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total accommodation cost • 0 to 7 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total accommodation cost • Non-arrival or early departure: 100% of the total accommodation cost We recommend that guests obtain travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes. |
| Please let us know your expected arrival time via WhatsApp before your stay. For security reasons, the main gate is locked at 7:00 PM, so we kindly ask that all guests arrive well in advance.
Special requests and meal bookings can be arranged ahead of time — simply contact us via WhatsApp. All special requests are subject to availability and may carry additional charges. Upon arrival, guests will be asked to: • Present valid photo identification and the credit card used to secure the booking • Sign a standard indemnity form (this may also be completed in advance) • Settle any outstanding balances before check-in Please note: Summerplace is a noise-sensitive environment.
